Leave with new Gem:New Mutants Leave with Gem already found in previous game:New Mutants Found through the Crystals or taken from your opponent - either way it qualifies as a New Gem. Nice smack talking, btw!

Okay, here are my not-so-educated guesses for the Game 2 bracket...
Leave with new Gem: New Avengers Most XP: New Mutants Least XP: Teen Titans Most VP: X-Men Least VP: Alpha Flight Most Wounded: Legion of Superheroes

Leave with new Gem: New Mutants Most XP: LoD Least XP: Teen Titans Most VP: X-Men Least VP: LoS Most Wounded: Avengers
It is really hard to know since no one has spent points yet really. I'm largely just guessing. I should really check the website out before saying stuff like that... I atticapte 2a to be friendsly and 2c to be a knock down drag out. 2b I expect to go one of two way... somewhat civil until the very end, where some punches get thrown or about mid-way through all hell breaks loose...

I dunno - over half the teams have spent their upgrade points already;
LoS LoD Alpha Flight Teen Titans New Avengers JSA
I left off X-Men and New Mutants.
So everyone except Avengers...

Everyone who votes me for least xp can assume that I will try to get my xp off of their characters.

Everyone who votes me for least xp can assume that I will try to get my xp off of their characters. I can't speak for the "Snowbacks" but the reason I think this is not an indictment on your playing, but more a function of you getting caught up in what will be a viscous struggle for the power gem... the most sought after gem of the league. My advice to you, if you want points (XP/VP) is to do one of two things. Ally with one of the parties and offer to either help retain the gem (and get help getting your own should a GG pop up) or help steal the gem and hope he'll help you get another gem should the GG pop up. Either is viable, both are dangerous. Your other option is to stay neutral, in which case you will get starved of villains and Rick MCs them all to fight Eric, and if you get in the way he'll use your guys as well. You could, of course, just come in and add to the chaos, but honestly... you'd get flattened. Rick won't play, he'll crush you to get to Eric. Now if you can manage to get the map set up so that the two of them cross paths, and are maybe right on top of each other when they start, you may be able to get your points and get out. Which I would do. Those two team are outside your weight class right now.

I wasn't serious, just employing my typical threat tactics. I'm not worried.

Those two team are outside your weight class right now. Your fear of the X-Men (which includes the New Mutants) is mind boggling...and unwarranted. Your fear of Mind Control is just silly since the power sucks (yeah, I said it!). The Teen Titans could easily handle either of those teams head on and they are well equipped to protect themselves from proxy villain attacks. I won't presume to tell the Titans how to play, but if you blow any more smoke up Rick and Eric's asses they may have to get a restraining order.

Well what do I know then.
Dude (in this case Dude is the Titans) go mop the floors with both of them and come out on the other side with a gem.

Mmm, I doubt I will emerge quite so gloriously, but I am confident I will not be so casually dismissed.

Mmm, I doubt I will emerge quite so gloriously, but I am confident I will not be so casually dismissed. I’m not trying to impugn your abilities. Personally I don’t think your team would survive a direct attack or retaliation right now. Starfire is your only damage dealer and she isn’t that accurate. Everyone else does 2 pts of damage, and going in Dick only does 1 (until you heal him.) In your position I would attempt to position myself as far away from the others as possible and just get my point and get away. If you could I’d say try to make it so the other two meet, while they are battling it out you can mosey on by. Everyone has plenty of VPs so there will be BFCs and hate a plenty being thrown out. Also Rick will likely have something up his sleeve… he always does… Your other option would be to align with one of them against the other to assure points. If one person eats it the other two profit. Such is the way of things in My Lord and Master’s world. You could try going diplomatic and telling each you will not tread on them and vice versa, but that could backfire and/or still stick you in the middle. Of course, as D said, maybe I’m overestimating the other players. My personal rule of thumb with Rick harkens back to something a chainsaw-handed profit once told me “it’s a trick, get an axe.”

I remember all those options from your first post. ;D
Anyway, I'm not at all worried. First of all, my attack values are on par or better then most of his figures and definitely better factoring in the Titans ability. High highest attack value belongs to Karma, and forgive me if I don't tremble in fear of mind control. With only a minor ability in unit and villain placement I should be able to avoid being in range for that, and I'm also pretty sure that Rick will be going for the gem rather then wasting time trying to have Starfire attack Speedy, and I can control villains just as well as he can without MC.
As for total damage output, he has 11 and I have 10. Not quite a massive difference.
The only thing that I'd really be annoyed with is the defend on Warlock combined with those two ES/Ds.
As for Eric's team it's reasonably tough as well, but hardly an invincible juggernaut in comparison.
Most of all though, I doubt I'll need to worry about making deals or trying to arrange it for the two of them to fight each other. I haven't played a league before, but even I know it's a pretty good bet Rick's going for Eric's gem.
And if somehow they decide to chew on the Titans bones, I'll just focus all my attention on destroying whoever attacks me first and letting the other gain all the spoils, and I'll be just as happy.
In any case, it'll all be seen soon enough.
